Robert and Nathalie offer you a family welcome, simple, authentic and discreet.

Because we are Christians, we welcome everyone in the same way, regardless of their origins, beliefs or religion. To each, we want to give the best welcome and encourage a meeting imbued with humanity in respect and fraternity.

On the heights of Genval, close to transport and shops, this small manor house from 1906 is surrounded by a small park with hundred-year-old trees; a perimeter wall ensures peace and security.

Genval train station is an 11-minute walk from us; it is possible to reach Brussels by train in 20 minutes (Brussels Luxembourg station) and we are about twenty minutes by car from the international airport of Zaventem.

N.B. Regarding the name of our site, we chose it in reference to "Teranga", Senegalese hospitality. In Wolof, Teranga comes from "teer/teerul" which means to welcome. It designates the values of hospitality, sharing and solidarity.

THE APARTMENT

We offer our guests a large, bright garden-floor flat.

Accessible on the ground floor, the flat has a terrace

in a south-facing garden full of flowers.

You have private access by code.

Recently built (2014), the flat is cool and airy despite

despite its south-facing aspect.

The terrace and adjoining garden are reserved for you.

The fully independent flat is organised as follows:

A bedroom area with a very comfortable king-size bed,
wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Dining area with extendable round table.
A lounge with a HIFI system for music lovers and a top-of-the-range home cinema with 4K TV for film buffs.
An office with free Wi-Fi connection
A library and video library
A fully-equipped kitchen

percolator and Nespresso machine

Bathroom with bath, two showers and heated towel rail
Bathroom scale (on request) and hairdryer.
A 6 m2 sauna.
There is a supplement of €30.00 for one sauna and €10 for each additional sauna.

THE ENVIRONMENT

We are sensitive to the environmental cause; we have done and we continue to do our best to respect the planet; thus, for several years, we have invested in:

Insulation,
The acquisition of a wood heating (logs) coupled with a condensing gas boiler.
Installation of solar panels
The purchase of an electric vehicle for the whole family.
The development of a vegetable garden, a small orchard and a chicken coop
The preservation of biodiversity through flower plantations
Responsible consumption by buying what we really need.
